Greetings, friends!
Welcome to SriVidya Pitham .

Just as a practitioner of Shrikula SriVidya is called a “Sri Sadhak,” similarly, a practitioner of Kali Kula SriVidya is called a “Lingraj Sadhak.”

In the ” KaliKula SriVidya ” tradition, there is a great emphasis on words. Most people mistakenly consider the Goddess Mahakali as Kali and Kali as Mahakali. There is a vast difference between the two, like the difference between heaven and earth. It is a widespread misconception. Similarly, people often mistake the Sri Yantra as a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi, but the Sri Yantra is not Goddess Lakshmi herself. Shiva, SadaShiva, Kameshwara Shiva, and Kaleshwara Shiva are four separate energy principles.

Therefore, in the spiritual realm, the importance of words is immense. No deity can explain the significance of a practitioner through the recitation of mantras alone. That’s why a Guru is essential.

Shmashan Kali has two secret scriptures:

1. Shuth Shmashan Granth (Pure Shmashan Granth) and

2. Tringhothang Shmashan Granth.

The first word in the Mahakali Sahasranam is “Shmashan Kali Kaali.”

In Sri Vidya or Kali Kula Sri Vidya, words hold great importance. While many people consider Mahakali Devi and Kali Devi to be the same, they are different entities. There is a misconception spread about it. The Sri Yantra is not a representation of Goddess Lakshmi. Shmashan Kali Kaali is not a component of Mahakali; rather, it is the power within Kali.

Shmashaneshwari Mahakali is one manifestation of Mahakali, but it is not the same. Kali Devi is the energy of Lord Shiva’s consort, Parvati. Shmashan Kali is a component of that very Kali. Kali is addressed as KaliKa, meaning the ruler or the one with authority in a particular place.

For example, in ancient times, births used to take place in homes. Later, hospitals were established. The place where a child is born in a hospital becomes a distinct entity because a human is being born there.

Similarly, when a person dies and their body is cremated, the place where the cremation takes place also becomes equally significant. It becomes a place where the soul separates from the physical body.

In the realm of tantra, different energies are invoked and used for dark magic. You may have heard of spells and rituals performed at cremation grounds. However, just like old hospitals where births took place for a long time, those places also hold as much power as a cremation ground. The energy there can also be harnessed. People who can tap into that energy are present there.
